Service Descriptions and Rates

Your First Appointment

This consultation usually lasts between an hour and an hour and a half so that I can really get to know you and your health. This time includes an acupuncture treatment and an herbal consultation as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations. If you receive an allergy elimination treatment at this appointment, it is an additional $10.00

If you have a severe condition and/or are traveling from a long distance, you may want to choose a longer (up to 3 hours) first session that is available.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been used for over 2,000 years as a healing form for pain and other conditions. Very thin, solid, metallic needles are inserted and gently manipulated by the hands or electrical stimulation. Most people find acupuncture treatments to be relaxing and are usually painless. Herbal Consultation

During an herbal consult, I write a customized herbal formula just for you using traditional Chinese herbs. I may also recommend vitamins and nutritional supplements as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

Allergy Elimination Treatments

An Allergy Elimination Treatment is an acupuncture treatment specifically designed to systematically rebalance the body so that it no longer reacts to allergens and sensitivities. The form I practice is most like NAET or BioSET. Usually one allergen at a time is treated for and you must be willing to avoid this allergen/food item, etc for the 25 hours after your treatment. This is a very powerful type of treatment and requires you to be diligent during your 25 hour restriction. I have seen amazing results over and over again with this type of treatment. Phone Appointment (for patients)

During phone appointments, I ask the same thorough questions that I do when I see you in person. I make herbal, nutritional, and supplement recommendations as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations with you. If you need help with a symptom or condition that requires you to see someone in person, please do so. You must see me in person for an initial appointment before you are eligible for this service. You are also required to see me in person once per year in order to remain eligible for this option.

Phone Consultation (for non patients)

I have a thorough understanding of organic/green living, natural lifestyle issues and how our bodies and health relate to household chemicals, nutrition, and dietary supplements. I also have a great understanding of different alternative health care healing modalities including acupuncturists, chiropractors, holistic medical doctors, biological (holistic) dentist, natural birth methods, massage therapy, bodywork therapy, energetic therapy, chemical injury/sensitivity issues and many more. I have also studied the intuitive process and spiritual and emotional connections to health and well-being. While I may share my intuitive insight into your life or condition, this does not constitute medical or psychological advice and no claims of outcome are made. Phone discussions can include discussions about the above topics.

Phone Consultation *for non patients	This is a service I provide for educational purposes only. If you choose this option, you are willing to speak with me without establishing a "doctor- patient" relationship. This option can be helpful for out of state people wishing to speak with me who do not wish to meet in person for an appointment and who are already under the care of a health professional.	$20 (0-10 min) $40 (11-20 min) $65 (21-40 min) $85 (41-60 min) Additional minutes are $1.50 per minute International phone charges, which may differ from country to country, may apply.
Late Cancel Fee/"No Show" policy and fee As a courtesy to other patients, please be on time for your scheduled appointment. Due to tight scheduling, if you are late, your scheduled time may need to be adjusted accordingly. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we may need to cancel your appointment and consider it a “no show”. "No shows" will be charged in full at your next appointment. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please give 36 hours notice to avoid a $25.00 late cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made over the phone Mon-Fri. (you can leave a message if no one answers). If you are scheduled for an appointment on a Monday, you must cancel on the previous Thursday in order to avoid the late cancel fee.
